Album Review: Kanye West - "Yeezus"

Kanye West has a real interest in race and religion. These hot topics are weaved all throughout his latest album, “Yeezus” which is an obvious nod to the aforementioned topic. As political as the album is, there is no denying that Kanye set out to make an album that could not be compared to any other rap album of our time. In his New York Times interview he described himself as a “new wave rapper” and he has delivered a new wave rap album; equipped with auto-tune, oldies samples and reggae artists. You may assume these pieces may not fit into the same puzzle, but he may make you a believer.
